Screened Fill is a processed material where particles larger than one inch have been removed. Fill is mostly comprised of clay and softer rocks that have broken down. There are very little organics in our fill, which is important if you want your holes that are getting filled in to not turn into ruts as soon as you drive the lawnmower on your grass! It is widely used in construction as the layer of material or base below the topsoil. Using screened fill to level the jobsite or landscaping project first will save a huge amount of money when comparing the cost per yard of topsoil to our screened fill is about 4-5 times more expensive. effective for backfilling trenches and retaining walls. Additional uses include landscaping, site leveling, and erosion control.
